The boards of directors of the CESE and CONIC (National Council of Christian Churches) met between April 4th and 5th in Salvador (BA).
The first day was reserved for the organizations to hold their board meetings separately. The last day was focused on the elaboration of joint action strategies and setting commitments in the fields of advocacy, ecumenism and interreligious dialogue. “CESE and CONIC are two organizations formed by churches and faith-based and actually complement each other. The importance of these assumed commitments reaffirms our ecumenical role in promoting dialogue and public testimony”, highlights CESE’s executive director, Sonia Mota.
