Portal Virando o Jogo (Change the Game Academy) is officially launched in Brazil

The official launch in Brazil of the Virando o Jogo (Change the Game Academy) Portal — a platform that offers online and face-to-face courses in the areas of local fundraising and mobilising support in various countries around the world, took place on June 7. The purpose of the tool is to empower popular groups and civil society organizations for advocacy and social transformation.

The launch was held during the ABCR (Brazilian Association of Fundraising) Festival in São Paulo by the CESE team and Wilde Ganzen (a Dutch support agency) for the audience of the event (aimed at reflections and partnerships in the field of resource mobilization) .

The online courses are available on the Portal www.virandoojogo.org.br and can be offered in person, adapted to the profile of the participating groups.

The digital platform is part of the Virando o Jogo (Change the Game) Program, which was developmentally based on a work supported from 2007 to 2015 by the Dutch agency Wilde Ganzen, in which, more than 900 organizations from Brazil, India, Kenya and South Africa, were formed. In Brazil, the initiative is implemented by the CESE with the support of the Dutch agency.

The Virando o Jogo (Change the Game ) Program is present in South and Central America (Brazil and Guatemala respectively), Africa (South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Mali, Ghana, Benin, Uganda) Nepal and Bangladesh).
