On 22 July, CESE’s offices in Salvador (Bahia) were once again filled with the voices, ideas and experiences of people on the front line in the fight for rights. The organisation held a Local Fundraising Update Meeting, as part of the Change the Game Programme, bringing together 14 representatives from grassroots organisations, who had participated in previous CESE courses. The focus was on Communications and Planning, identified as priorities in a survey conducted with former training participants. The meeting underlined CESE’s commitment to institutional sustainability and organisational autonomy through the continued mobilisation of both local resources and political support.
